These stone setting projects are the third project that we do in Jewelry classes at Hanover High School.  Students typically pick cabochon stones and and set them with a silver bezel wrapping.  This project demands precise shaping and sizing.  Soldering the delicate bezel is challenging and the completed project demands time, experience and complete focus.
